RBI issues notes

The purpose of issuing the new notes was that the new notes would spread across the country as soon as possible, but currently very few Rs 2000 notes are appearing in the market. According to information received from RBI, the share of Rs 2000 notes in circulation across the country has reduced to just 13.8 percent by March 31, 2022.
